The Muscogee (Creek) Nation is seeking an Archaeological Technician for the Historic and Cultural Preservation Department in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This position will assist the Senior Tribal Archaeologist and Tribal Archaeologist in cultural resource surveys, identification, and preservation of historic properties within the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation reservation and/or on lands of historic interest in the southeastern United States. A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, American Indian Studies, History, Cultural Resource Management, or related field or six months of archaeological field experience is required.
