Registration deadline for paper/poster presenters is August 31, 2017. Advance registration for those not presenting papers/posters is October 20, 2017.
ON-SITE REGISTRATION fees will be $20 more than the cost listed below, unless otherwise noted.

- Tribal member: Free (with Tribally Issued Identification or CDIB card, required)
- Non-member: $130
- Student non-member: $65

If for any reason, the registrant cannot attend the conference, SEAC Tulsa 2017 will refund 75% of the registration fee upon official email request by August 31, 2017. Your registration confirmation information must be included in the refund request email. Please allow four (4) weeks for refund processing. Cancellations received after August 31, 2017 are nonrefundable; however, substitutions are welcome in lieu of cancellation anytime.
Symposium organizers must complete a symposium submission form for the symposium to be available to participants as a presentation option. Please complete the form below if you are the organizer/chair. Allow 24 hours for your symposium title to be available to presenters in the drop down menu of the registration form.
Symposium abstract is limited to 100 words. Half days sessions ideally consist of 9-11 twenty minute papers (including discussants and one break) running between 8:00 am-noon in the morning and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm in the afternoon. Full day sessions ideally consist of 18-22 twenty minute papers (including discussants and two breaks). For organized symposia with substantially less than the minimum “ideal” number of papers, we will make every effort to accommodate scheduling these within our available meeting room blocks.

Number and Nature of Roles
Symposium and session chairs must supply a laptop computer loaded with Microsoft Office PowerPoint software and obtain participants’ PowerPoint programs well in advance of the schedule session time. YOUR LAPTOP MUST HAVE A VGA CONNECTOR; if you have a MAC, make sure you have an appropriate adapter for a VGA connector.
Posters, whether individual or as part of a symposium, should be sized to fit on a display that measures 8 ft horizontally and 4 ft vertically. Mounting supplies are not provided; presenters need to bring their own pushpins for their displays.
Students are encouraged to attend and participate in the annual meeting in several ways. They can enter the SEAC 2017 Student Paper Competition, with prizes that are among the richest in the field. First place wins a large pile of publications and other items whose total value is several thousand dollars. Second-place prize is a lifetime SEAC membership and back issues of the SEAC journal, Southeastern Archaeology. All student entries must be sent in their final form to Competition Chair Maureen Meyers, email@example.com, by September 30, 2017. All entries must be included in the 2017 meeting program.
A student reception will take place Thursday afternoon at at the Helmerich Center for American Research (HCAR) from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
