77th Annual Meeting in Durham, NC (2020)

PLEASE NOTE: The links on this page to registration forms will be updated within a couple of days. The forms are currently being constructed.

Meeting registration is now open. The deadline for submitting a paper, poster, symposium, workshop, panel, or other event is August 31, 2021.

The deadline for online registration for individuals who will not be presenting a paper/poster, chairing/co-chairing a symposium, serving as a panelist, or leading a workshop is October 15, 2021. After that date you will need to register for the conference on-site at the Durham Convention Center.

Registration fees for the conference are as follows:
Regular Member: $120.00
Student Member: $60.00
Student Non-Member: $70.00
Non-Member: $140.00
Tribal Member: Free (with Tribally Issued Identification or CDIB card)*
Guest Non-Archaeologist: $25.00

*For a tribal member coupon code for free registration, please email a photo or scan of your card to Margaret Scarry (scarry@email.unc.edu). Coupon code will be provided as promptly as possible.

Please remember that all presenters (including tribal members) must be current members of SEAC in order to be first author on a paper or poster, to serve as a panelist, or to lead a workshop. If for any reason you must cancel your registration send an email to Margaret Scarry (scarry@email.unc.edu). We will refund 75% of your registration fee, if we receive the request by September 30, 2021. Your registration confirmation information must be included in the refund request email. Please allow four (4) weeks for refund processing. Cancellations received after September 30, 2021 are non-refundable; however, you may send Margaret Scarry (scarry@email.unc.edu) an email requesting that your registration fee be transferred to another person.

 

Register an Organized Symposium

Symposium organizers/chairs must complete a Symposium Submission Form (linked below) before the event title can be made available as a presentation option for registrants. Please allow 48 hours for your event title to be available to presenters in the drop-down menu of the “Select Event Title” field of the Member Registration form.

Register a Panel or Workshop

Panel and workshop organizers/chairs must complete a Symposium Submission Form (linked below) before the event title can be made available as a presentation option for registrants. Register for the Meeting as a SEAC Member

To register for the conference as a SEAC member and, if presenting, submit your paper or poster information, please complete the form linked below.

Register for the Meeting as a Non-Member & Non-Presenter

If you would like to attend the conference, but you are not a SEAC member nor plan to become one AND you are not presenting a paper or poster or serving as a panelist or workshop leader, then please complete the form linked below.

Register as an Exhibitor or Advertise in the Program

To reserve one or more tables in the book room or to pay for advertising in the conference bulletin or an insert in the conference bags, please complete the form linked below. This year, tables are 8 ft long and come with linen and two chairs. They may be reserved with or without power. Costs are listed in the form.
