Survey – US National Strategy for Federal Archeology

In 1974, the SAA and the National Park Service held workshops about where US archaeology was and should be heading. The resulting report transformed education and training of archaeologists in the last part of the twentieth century. Much has changed in the last 45 years: climate change, demographic shifts, an employment shortage in CRM, the need for improved practices in consultation with descendant groups, new technologies, and more. Clearly it is time to provide new recommendations to update the US National Strategy for Federal Archeology. In order to aid this effort, please take the following survey at the link below. This data will be compiled to assess priorities for a workshop to help guide the U.S. Federal Archaeology program. The survey should take less than five minutes to complete and can be taken here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/L8X6NHQ
