The Survey is accepting applications for a Arkansas Archeological Society Liaison at the Coordinating Office of the Arkansas Archeological Survey in Fayetteville, AR. The Society Liaison will be responsible for coordination of public archeology activities between the Arkansas Archeological Survey and the avocational Arkansas Archeological Society, including outreach activities, communications, liaison with stations, engagement with and outreach to the statewide Society Board of Directors, local Society chapters around the state, and the Society-based Board of Advisors, and coordination of the annual Training Program jointly organized between the Survey and the Society. The Society Liaison also organizes the AAS Annual Meeting and maintains Society records and archival materials at the Survey Coordinating Office.
