The Southeastern Archaeological Conference takes your privacy seriously. Any data collected as part of membership registration or event registration is used only to keep in touch with members and provide the service that is being requested.
SEAC Members are asked to provide personal data, such as name, address, email, and telephone number for membership sign up. These are used to contact members via digital newsletters, to send the Journal, and to get in touch with members as necessary. Personally identifiable information you provide will not be shared with third parties except when necessary to provide the product or service requested.
Payments
We take precautions to protect your payment information.
SEAC/WildApricot uses Personify Payments to process all payments and protect cardholder data.
The WildApricot site/Personify Payments is PCI compliant and is responsible for the security of cardholder data that SEAC processes, or transmits on behalf of the customer, or to the extent that they could impact the security of the customer’s cardholder data environment. For more information on PCI DSS, please visit pcisecuritystandards.org
SEAC offers family membership levels in which two people are given login access. The paying member will submit the information for the second member. If the second member does not consent to having their personal information in the SEAC database it can be removed and they will no longer have membership benefits.
SEAC shares member names and addresses with Taylor and Francis (our Journal Publisher) in order to mail copies of the journal to members who request a printed copy. No other information is shared with other parties.
All SEAC Officer contact information can be found on the Officer page.
