Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology (http://socanth.olemiss.edu) at the University of Mississippi invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology position in biological anthropology beginning August 22, 2019.

We are a four-field anthropology department seeking a candidate whose research complements and expands current department strengths. The area of research is open, but must include an ability to teach courses in biological anthropology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching responsibilities include a 3/2 course load with courses including Introduction to Biological Anthropology at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a four-field Introduction to Anthropology. Applicants will also have the opportunity to teach a course in their area of specialization.
