The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work art Kansas State is hiring for a Research Associate who will perform archaeological inventory surveys and site assessments in accordance with Sections 110 and 106 of the NHPA and 36 CFR Part 800, perform GIS-related duties in support of the Cultural Resources Program, collection, download, and analyze data using the total station and GPS mapping equipment, work with engineers, designers, planners and trainers to evaluate construction and ground disturbing activities that are taking place on Fort Riley as an archaeological monitor, and participate in outreach programming related to the Fort Riley CRM Program.
