The University of Georgia invites applications for a Post-doctoral Research Associate to support cultural resource management and collections management initiatives. This 12-month, full-time position with possibility for extension will be housed within the Laboratory of Archaeology and will collaborate closely with the Georgia Museum of Natural History. Start date is negotiable.
The Post Doctoral Research Associate’s primary responsibilities will be the project lead on Phase I and Phase II surveys on select U.S Forest Service property. This also includes the analysis, curation preparation, and report writing. Additionally, this includes rehabilitation and database entry of U.S Forest Service collections.
